Job description

The role is in place to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and develop property‑specific operating strategies that achieve the required standards.

They must be responsible for managing several operational contracts on behalf of the client, overseeing the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g., direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in designing and delivering building and engineering projects or groups of projects or programmes of work to achieve the highest quality within given timescales, budgets and statutory requirements.
• Providing electrical engineering design services.
• Undertaking design of electrical engineering elements for new build or repair/refurbishment projects and specifying systems and performance specifications and criteria.
• Being expert, but not limited to, HV/LV distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, power distribution, data installations, fire engineering, safety and security systems including alarms, access control and CCTV.
• Undertaking the modeling and simulation options appraisals and feasibility studies and contributing whole life costing.
• Directing and managing engineers involved in projects or groups of projects or programmes of work.
• Taking the lead role in projects and programmes and production of information.
• Carrying out quality assurance checks on designs carried out by others.
• Running, attending and participating in client meetings and design workshops.

About you

You will have a degree qualification in electrical engineering and be a member of a professional body. You have extensive experience as an electrical engineer. You will have experience in successfully delivering projects and involvement in testing and commissioning and handover and close‑out stages of projects. You must be an Arabic speaker and a practicing Muslim, due to the project of this position.
