Job summary

A leading outsourcing firm is searching for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the Riyadh Region. In this role, you will define and implement manufacturing processes, collaborate with various teams to meet performance KPIs, and improve the fabrication and assembly of defense vehicles. Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. This position offers the opportunity to lead new product introductions and work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer in relevant industries.
  • Strong background in low-to-medium volume mechanical and electro-mechanical production.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems including routings, BOMs, and engineering change requests.

Job description
Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Saudi National (Defense / Land Systems)
Role overview
  • Define, implement, and sustain robust manufacturing processes for existing and new products within work-cell environments.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality to achieve OEE, yield, cost, throughput, and delivery KPIs.
Key responsibilities
  • Develop and improve processes for fabrication and assembly of vehicles and sub-systems.
  • Design and plan equipment and line layouts, including tooling and test equipment, to support efficient production.
  • Conduct tests and monitor process performance, driving improvements in OEE, downtime, yield, cost, and lead time.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company procedures and policies.
  • Support bids by providing production cost estimates, schedules, and capability inputs.
  • Lead and support New Product Introduction activities (MRL, PRR, FAI, DFA/DFM, tooling, test equipment).
Required profile
  • 6–10 years of experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer in defense, land systems, military vehicles, or automotive/motor industry.
  • Strong background in low-to-medium volume mechanical and electro‑mechanical production, including machining, assembly, and testing.
  • Hands‑on experience with manufacturing systems: routings, BOMs, concessions, engineering change requests.
  • Demonstrated application of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage time and priorities effectively in line with demanding customer and project needs; prior leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (postgraduate degree preferred).
