Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex and routine health conditions in falcons, including preventive care, surgical procedures, and emergency interventions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior veterinarians, falcon technicians, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in avian medical care.
  • Collaborate closely with falcon handlers, trainers, breeding specialists, and conservation teams to develop holistic rehabilitation and wellness plans.
  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive medical records, contribute to long-term health monitoring programs, and support research‑driven initiatives in falcon medicine.
  • Stay updated with global and regional advancements in avian and exotic animal medicine, bringing innovation to clinical protocols and conservation practices.
  • Advise on nutrition, habitat design, breeding programs, and environmental standards to optimize long‑term falcon well‑being.
  • Ensure compliance with GCC regional wildlife, conservation, and veterinary regulations.
