What you'll be doing

The role involves analyzing risks and economic trends to guide business decisions, support financial planning, and develop financial and accounting concepts for forecasting and control.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing managers to understand business environments, market size, industry trends, competitors, margins, retail outlets, and advertising spend.
  • Support marketing and sales teams in preparing P&L projections, analyzing financial viability of new openings, and monitoring marketing budgets.
  • Forecast business, industry, and economic conditions using financial data.
  • Plan and forecast marketing activities and their impact on financial statements.
  • Develop strategic financial plans, including 3-year, annual, and quarterly updates.
  • Review purchase cycles and analyze weekly cash flows to recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and revisions.
  • Analyze financial figures, compare with budgets and previous years, and prepare management reports.
  • Challenge assumptions, propose revisions, and review P&L, balance sheets, and interest rate parity.
  • Create visual reports using spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.
  • Manage KPI models aligned with company objectives.
  • Perform GAP analysis to ensure budget adherence and process improvements.
  • Develop operating budgets and analyze deviations from actual performance.
  • Improve expenditure processes and financial evaluation methods.
  • Transform accounting data into management information and monitor financial indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, support monthly closing, and assist in financial statement preparation.
  • Stay updated on finance and economics developments.
  • Support treasury and cross-functional initiatives, including business plans and cash flow studies.
  • Evaluate new outlets and products using internal rate of return (IRR) studies.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance.
