Job summary

A leading construction company in Saudi Arabia seeks skilled Refractory Masons to carry out lining, gunning, and casting works in compliance with Aramco specifications. The ideal candidates will possess an ITI/Trade Certificate in Masonry and preferably have Aramco certification. Responsibilities include precise construction, inspection, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Masonry or a related field preferred.
• Aramco approval or certification as Refractory Mason highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out refractory brick lining, gunning, and casting works.
• Measure, cut, and lay refractory bricks and tiles.
• Mix and apply refractory mortar and insulation materials.
• Inspect and maintain refractory structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and instructions.
• Operate brick cutting machines and mixers.
• Follow quality procedures and documentation requirements.
• Adhere to site HSE policies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and QA/QC teams.

1. Carry out refractory brick lining, gunning, and casting works in furnaces, kilns, boilers, reformers, and reactors as per project drawings and Aramco specifications.
2. Measure, cut, and lay refractory bricks and tiles with precision to ensure proper alignment and stability.
3. Mix and apply refractory mortar, castables, and insulation materials as required.
4. Inspect, repair, and maintain refractory structures, ensuring compliance with Aramco safety and quality standards.
5. Read and interpret construction drawings, isometric sketches, and technical instructions related to refractory works.
6. Operate tools and equipment such as brick cutting machines, mixers, trowels, and measuring devices.
7. Follow Aramco-approved quality procedures, documentation, and reporting requirements.
8. Adhere strictly to site HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and practices.
9. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and QA/QC team for timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

1. ITI / Trade Certificate in Masonry or related field (preferred).
