Job summary

A healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to perform various radiographic examinations and ensure patient safety. The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and possess a QCHP license or eligibility. Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, assisting patients, and maintaining safety protocols. Qualifications

  • Must obtain a QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) License or be eligible for it.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and diagnostic imaging techniques.
  • Proven experience as a Radiology Technician in a hospital, laboratory, and radiology centre.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of radiographic examinations as directed by the Radiologist and Senior Technician.
  • Determine necessary Radiologic examinations based on requests and physicians' instructions.
  • Handle patients at the reception and provide clear instructions to patients during procedures.
  • Assist in positioning patients on examination tables for accurate imaging.
  • Operate radiologic equipment proficiently to produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment is properly positioned and controls are adjusted for each examination.
  • Maintain and uphold radiation safety measures for patients and team members.
  • Conduct repeat imaging for studies that do not meet established standards.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions to the Senior Radiology Technician.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including form completion and maintaining supplies for examinations.
