Job summary

A beverage manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Quality Control Operator responsible for the daily operations of the syrup room. The ideal candidate will ensure syrup preparation meets quality standards while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma or degree, with at least 3 years of experience in the beverage industry. Strong knowledge of syrup preparation technology and food safety norms is essential. Job description
Quality Control Operator
Job Purpose

The syrup operator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the syrup room and CIP room, maintaining syrup preparation and analysis as per the MCPs and PCPs to meet PI and legal quality standards from conc, preparation up to Final batch following the product specifications (formula).

Description
  1. Responsible for the syrup room operation and control of syrup manufacturing as per product specifications and PepsiCo MCPs.
  2. Prepare the syrup batches as per the syrup plan based on the flavors and number of units.
  3. Conduct the control drink after each batch preparation and ensure all physiochemical and sensory with specs, and timely reporting to quality team leader.
  4. Operate a Sugar Dissolving unit / Contimol and maintain simple syrup brix and temperature.
  5. Maintain the correct simple syrup brix and volume based on the flavor and number of correct units and verify volume in final syrup tank before adding the Ingredients and Components.
  6. Follow up Ingredients and Components dumping and dissolving in the station dissolving unit and make sure they dissolves in order based on the product specifications (formula).
  7. Prepare the CIP chemicals into the CIP tanks and prepare them ready for the equipment CIP, And the CIP unit as per the OEM operation stds.
  8. Maintain GMP, hygiene, and sanitary conditions for the syrup equipment’s.
  9. Maintain all records such as simple syrup temperature before batching, concentrate data (batch number, production date, expiry date ...etc.) in the syrup preparation batch sheet.
  10. Conduct syrup tank, sugar dissolving, other sanitation as per the CIP matrix and maintain temperature, Conc and time during each CIP.
  11. Maintain the equipment, COP, gaskets, and strainers check as per the syrup checklist.
  12. Maintain good housekeeping, GMP, and all food safety and PI norms on the syrup room.
  13. Maintaining compliance with food safety and safety in the syrup roo
  14. Additional responsibility for processes whenever required.
