Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a single point contact with SEC.
  • To establish effective coordination between SEC and employees for relevant documentation and job specific requirements.
  • Responsible to the Client for the timely and effective execution of the project by SGS assigned personnel, locally and internationally.
  • To monitor and measure the implementation H&S KPI’s for Self and subordinates.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Ethics and Integrity.
  • Comply and implement SGS Health & Safety Requirements.
  • Comply and implement SGS QMS requirements.
  • Dealing with Client organization concerning all matters related to the project.
  • Overall project management including implementation of the Quality Management System and necessary practices in the execution of the project.
  • Ensuring that the commercial matters related to this contract are properly implemented in the local SGS organizations.
  • Attending if required a Kick-off meeting with Client along with SGS Project Coordinator and Local Representatives.
  • Planning and Initiating mobilization / demobilization of necessary resources to perform agreed scope of work.
  • Being the interface between Client organization and SGS offices on an escalated level for all commercial matters.
  • Preparing and dispatching Invoices for Clients.
  • Preparing Payroll of all employees, checking with the timesheets.
  • Data entry of the entire employee's timesheet.
  • Provide support to Industrial Service Manager in the preparation of unbilled revenue statement.
  • Provide support in vehicle hire, vehicle maintenance and vehicle utility.
  • Handling Petty Cash review for SEC team.
  • Making / arranging annual vacation plan of employees in this project, along with airline booking.
  • Arrange with HR for visa processing, exit re-entry for SEC Team.
  • Correspondence with different Travel Agencies, car rental companies, Hotel booking in coordination with SEC.
  • Coordination / Correspondence with SEC Security for getting required access for employees during projects execution.
  • Co-ordinating various on-going activities of projects such as purchasing, coordination with sub-contractors.
  • Follow-up with SEC for outstanding payments.
  • To document the complaints / NCR's of customers and take initiatives in discussion with the Business Manager / Quality Representative to close them within the stipulated timings.
  • To maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
  • Ensure the best quality of execution.
  • Optimize resource allocation and manage project teams effectively.
  • Monitoring and achieving the set QMS Quality Objectives and H&S KPI’s for self and subordinates.
  • Monitor the team attendance in Monthly safe talks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualification is a Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum experience of 20 years, of which 10 years shall be in the Middle East.
  • Must have experience of a minimum of 5 years in carrying out Inspection functions in Power Industry or similar industry.
  • Must be able to communicate in English language, both written and spoken in a professional level.
  • Proficiency in Arabic language is an advantage, but not a must.
  • Computer skills (Excel, word, power point etc.)
