Key Responsibilities
  • Utilizing Worley’s framework to undertake risk assessment of the project through engineering, procurement & construction and develop HSE plans to support each phase of the project.
  • Develop HSE standards, systems, and procedures to support the project(s).
  • Develop and implement HSE training for the project including orientation, hazard analysis & safety leadership.
  • Implement robust contractor management process including pre-selection, orientation, and on-the-ground review of performance (informal & formal).
  • Ensure effective hazard & incident management processes are implemented including the use of Worley’s system.
  • Implement effective Emergency Preparedness and Response plans aligned with Worley & Client Crisis Management Plans.
  • Manage the local R3 processes and participate in project start up work – (project mobilization).
  • Recruit HSE personnel required to support the project.
  • Coach & mentor direct reports and project team members to improve HSE skills and competencies.
  • Liaise with HSE professionals to identify & share improvements.
  • Participate in HSE inspections & audits across project(s).
  • Must have experience in the Oil/Gas, Hydrocarbon, Refinery, Offshore, or Infrastructure industries and have HSE experience on large projects.
  • Capable of preparing HSE plan for grassroots projects.
  • Experience in coordinating with other IK HSE Organizations.
  • Capable of leading the site risk assessment study and generation of the Process Safety Management Program for the project.
  • Understanding of the principles and practices of HSE Management and the implementation and improvement of management systems.
  • Proven capability in managing and controlling budgets and schedules along with strong leadership and communications skills.
  • Must have an internationally recognized professional safety certification i.e. CSP, CMIOSH.
Qualifications
