Hiring: Power Operations Manager – Conventional Power Plant

Rabigh, Saudi Arabia

Lead operations at a major thermal power facility, ensuring continuous and reliable supply of power, steam, and water to the complex. Drive plant availability, efficiency, and safety while maintaining compliance with strict regulatory and environmental standards.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure capacity and availability of client requirements through effective management of power operations.
  • Oversee daily operations, monitoring O&M performance, and ensuring on-time, safe, and efficient plant operation.
  • Lead initiatives to minimize unplanned shutdowns, operational errors, and emissions.
  • Establish and reinforce a culture of “Zero Error” in operational activities, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Implement performance monitoring, predictive systems, and continuous improvement programs across plant systems.
  • Guide and train teams, ensuring compliance with procedures, audits, and ISO requirements.
  • Drive internal communication, reporting, and documentation to support both regular and emergency operations.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Production preferred).
  • Licensed professional engineer with strong technical knowledge of power generation.
  • 10+ years professional experience, including 5+ years in power generation management or leadership.
  • Expertise in commissioning, operations management, HR management, and O&M budgeting.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and people management skills.
  • Competence in conventional heat generation, fluids & pneumatics, electrical systems, instrumentation, and quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and commitment to safety.
