Madar Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to strengthening our medical supply operations.

🔹 Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement within hospitals or healthcare institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and must be a Licensed Pharmacist.
  • Valid license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chains, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in managing contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, drug registration procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement software, inventory systems, and international purchasing processes is preferred.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and manage all pharmaceutical procurement operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective purchasing activities.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to secure high-quality and timely medical supplies.
  • Assess hospital medication needs and ensure continuous availability of essential pharmaceuticals.
  • Build, manage, and enhance relationships with local and international suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, emerging products, and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee negotiation, preparation, and renewal of contracts and supply agreements.
  • Monitor and evaluate inventory levels, consumption patterns, and potential supply risks, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with local regulations, international standards, and internal company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Warehouse, Finance) to support seamless supply chain operations.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance indicators for senior management.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency, transparency, and overall operational excellence.
