An established luxury Italian hospitality group is seeking an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to support the pastry kitchen of a high-profile Italian café concept in Riyadh, KSA. This role suits a technically strong pastry professional with a clear grounding in classic and contemporary Italian pastry, capable of maintaining consistency, precision, and quality in a high-volume, premium environment. The venue is known for refined execution, disciplined kitchen standards, and an uncompromising approach to product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Pastry Chef in daily pastry kitchen operations and service execution
  • Prepare and execute Italian pastries, desserts, baked goods, and dolci to exacting brand standards
  • Ensure consistent mise en place, production planning, and stock control
  • Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and commis staff
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance
  • Assist with recipe standardisation, quality control, and cost management
  • Uphold presentation standards aligned with a luxury Italian dining experience
  • Minimum 4–6 years’ professional pastry experience in premium or fine-dining environments
  • Demonstrated experience with Italian pastry and dessert techniques
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or strong Pastry Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a structured, high-volume kitchen
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards
  • Candidates must be available to start by 1 February 2026 (or shortly after)
