Job summary

A leading aerospace and defence company in At Ta'if is looking for a dedicated MSS & Ops Support Coordinator. In this role, you will ensure the efficiency of the Squadron Operations room and assist in mission planning and training processes. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' military squadron operations experience along with an excellent knowledge of operational support tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the operational capability of military missions in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description - MSS & Ops Support Coordinator (00132688)

• Responsible for the smooth running of the Squadron Operations room and surrounding environment.
• Ensure that Mission data and debrief data is correctly prepared.
• Ensure all Flight Planning boards and activities for MSS Mission Planning support are controlled and maintained.
• Support the Saudisation process through the OJT and consolidation training of assigned RSAF technicians
• Support the company SHE policy through best practice within the work centre.
• Completing any other reasonable duties or requests that are made by your line management.
• Deputising for the Supervisor during periods of leave/absence to ensure operational capability is not compromised. .
• Must have completed 5+ years within a high tempo military squadron operations environment.
• Must have Operations and Mission Support knowledge (5+ years in a Squadron Operations role) including an understanding of mission planning support, flying programme maintenance and debriefing support.
• 5 years experience in a Squadron Operations supervisory role.
• Previous experience in delivering On the Job training to subordinates or counterparts.
• Broad aerospace and defence company/industry knowledge.
• An understanding of RAF and /or RSAF engineering operating procedures.
• Ex military with experience serving on an operational military flying unit.
• Must have attained experience working in a military aircraft maintenance environment.
• Thorough working knowledge of Squadron Operations and Mission Support. (Typhoon MSS preferable)
• Experience of working in the aviation industry in a Gulf Coast Country preferred.
• The ability to act upon his own initiative within the scope of his job.
• A conscientious approach to work and meticulous attention to detail is also required.
• A track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.
• Excellent working knowledge of flying performance metrication and a solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
