Qualifications

Job description

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and optimising to ensure efficient Design for Static Equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Tanks, and Structures.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform Mechanical Design of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Skids, Tanks, and Structures based on ASME, TEMA, Customer Datasheets and project specifications, utilizing PVlite, Codeware, Tekla and other software
• Preparation of mechanical data sheets for the Heat exchangers
• Provide inputs and supervise the preparation of the AutoCAD Drawings.
• Preparation of Material Requisition (MR/PR) with Technical Delivery Conditions for Project Related Materials
• Preparation / Review of Material Take-off (MTO), Material specifications and Purchase requisitions, including Technical Delivery Conditions.
• Prepare and handle various Audits and Customer Visits
• Provide Technical Design Support during the bidding stage
• Ensure that Design/Drawing & MR related activities are completed within the timeframe as specified by Project Team & with the highest level of accuracy.
• Proivde solution to any Design related issues during Project Execution.
• Carry out Engineering Design related tasks as assigned by GM/OD.
• Provide on-job training to Design Engineers and CAD Operators

Requirements
