Job summary

A leading digital design agency in Saudi Arabia is seeking a business development lead to refine its business model and market strategy. This role involves conducting market research, preparing financial projections, and engaging with investors and partners to secure funding. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, tech, and design teams, while demonstrating traction with early partnerships. Once sufficient funding is achieved, the lead will oversee hiring for a dedicated team to execute the venture's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine the business model, market entry strategy, and commercial roadmap for the new product venture.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to validate product-market fit and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed financial projections, investor decks, and business plans to attract funding.
  • Identify, approach, and engage with investors, incubators, accelerators, and strategic partners.
  • Lead all efforts related to fundraising, including grant applications, venture capital outreach, and government programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, tech, design) to align execution with business goals.
  • Build and manage early partnerships, pilots, or client relationships to demonstrate traction.
  • Report progress, financials, and funding milestones directly to executive leadership.
  • Once funding is secured, lead the hiring and formation of a dedicated venture team, ensuring the right talent mix for growth and execution.
