Job Purpose:
To plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while supporting plant reliability, safety, and cost control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed job plans and work packages, including step‑by‑step instructions, safety requirements, required tools, spare parts, and technical documentation (manuals and drawings).
- Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and long‑term preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP).
- Coordinate required resources, including internal manpower, external contractors, tools, and spare parts, in coordination with stockroom and procurement to ensure material availability before job execution.
- Review, prioritize, and manage maintenance work orders, converting requests into planned work orders and tracking progress until completion.
- Estimate labor hours and material costs for maintenance activities to support budgeting and performance monitoring.
- Analyze maintenance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify equipment failure trends and recommend proactive maintenance improvements.
- Ensure maintenance plans comply with safety regulations and company policies by incorporating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and permit requirements.
- Plan and coordinate major plant shutdowns and overhauls with operations and engineering teams to minimize production impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning and scheduling using CMMS (SAP system).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with technicians, supervisors, management, and external vendors.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable maintenance plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5+ years of previous manufacturing repair experience, preferably within the food industry.
- Proficiency in the English language.
