Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans in line with project timelines and construction activities.
  • Coordinate and manage on-site logistics, including delivery schedules, access routes, laydown areas, and material storage.
  • Monitor construction site logistics and make real-time adjustments to meet project demands and mitigate disruptions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize logistics processes.
  • Review and approve logistics-related submittals and plans submitted by contractors.
  • Prepare and maintain Construction Logistics Plans (CLP), including updates as the project progresses.
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Utilize project management and logistics planning tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, and Primavera for visualization and coordination.
  • Interface with local authorities and stakeholders to manage permits and approvals for site access and deliveries.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans related to logistics and materials handling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record working on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects; experience on mega-projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
  • Previous involvement in projects under Royal Commission or giga projects in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics principles, construction site coordination, and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and BIM platforms.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
