Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mechanical engineering activities on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
  • Oversee BIM-related coordination, facilitating clash detection, design reviews, and multidisciplinary alignment
  • Review mechanical models, drawings, and calculations; provide clear technical comments and ensure timely resolution of design issues
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical queries and support smooth project execution
  • Monitor site installation works, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to approved designs
  • Support planning, material submittals, method statements, and commissioning activities
  • Identify risks, propose engineering solutions, and drive continuous improvements in project delivery
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience within contracting firms
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and digital engineering processes
  • Proven capability to review and interpret mechanical drawings, models, and technical documents
  • Demonstrated experience working on site, managing installation and construction activities (not purely office/design based)
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with relevant mechanical codes, standards, and construction best practices
