Job summary

A banking technology company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced L3 Support Engineer with solid experience in banking applications. Candidates must have at least 7 years in software development or L3 support, preferably in banking. The role involves providing technical support, managing issues proactively, and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and have knowledge of technologies like Temenos and T24.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as Software developer or L3 support in Banking.
  • Experience in debugging, analysing and fixing issues & bugs.
  • Knowledge of banking systems and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to application support team.
  • Track and manage fix changes priority aligned with source control changes pipeline.
  • Analyze and resolve issues with consideration of customer, business, and technical aspects.

Job description

L3 Support Engineer must have a strong background in development and fixing issues and Application proactive measures. The individual is expected to utilize his experience in handling bugs and abnormal system behaviour. Should be available around the clock to respond to critical issues. Knowledge and experience of banking applications and related modules. Must have good understanding of SDLC, incident management and problem management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
  • Banking system experience and knowledge essential.
  • Excellent Applications web and app related Skills.
  • Concepts and administration of Banking systems.
  • Practices and methods of problem management and incident management.
  • Provide technical support to application support team.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by superiors.
  • Considered an out of the box thinker and displays a willingness to learn.
  • Analysing and resolving issue with consideration of customer, business and technical sides
  • Tracking and managing fix changes priority in alignment with source control changes pipeline
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
EXPERIENCE
  • The candidate must be minimum of 7 yrs. of experience as Software developer or L3 support in Banking.
  • Excellent experience in Temenos / T24
  • Good experience in T24 TAFC / TAFJ
  • Good experience in debugging, analysing and fixing issue & bugs
  • Good Knowledge of banking system and integration
