Overview
Job Title: Interventional Cardiology Consultant.
An excellent opportunity to join a prestigious, top-tier hospital in Taif, Saudi Arabia as an Interventional Cardiology Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Lead the interventional cardiology team as a consultant, performing complex cardiac procedures and providing expert guidance on treatment plans.
- Coordinate research initiatives and ensure the highest standards of cardiac care at the hospital.
- Provide high-quality Interventional Cardiology care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative services as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows; participate in research activities.
- Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Perform special procedures as privileged.
- Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate from a medical school in good standing.
- Completion of required training in Cardiology and a Subspecialty in interventional cardiology.
- Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and meeting the criteria for the consultant as required.
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
- DataFlow is a must.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years post Board/Fellowship in Cardiology.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
