A dynamic engineering firm is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer for a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure the efficiency and safety of operations through the design and maintenance of advanced control systems in industrial applications. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, with 6 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with systems like PLC, DCS, and SCADA is essential, along with hands-on experience in the power, water, or oil & gas sectors.

Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in I&C Engineering in power, water, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Hands-on knowledge of GTG, STG, HRSG, Desalination, T&D, and wastewater treatment instrumentation.
  • Experience with reliability tools (RCM, RCA, IPF) and technical evaluations.

Eram Talent is actively seeking a proficient Instrumentation and Control Engineer for a prominent role in Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will play a vital part in the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems used in various industrial applications. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of operations by integrating state-of-the-art instrumentation technologies.

Your expertise will be critical in the development of instrumentation and control solutions that meet client specifications and operational requirements. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide practical solutions to operations & maintenance issues in I&C systems
  • Evaluate obsolete systems and recommend reliable alternatives
  • Conduct site surveys and develop technical scopes for CAPEX/OPEX projects
  • Review and prepare engineering documents, designs, control strategies, and material specs
  • Participate in HAZOP, RCA, RCM, and other reliability/improvement studies
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Contribute to I&C standard updates and participate in technical evaluations • Support technology assessments, energy-saving initiatives, and internal audits
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in I&C Engineering in power, water, or oil & gas sectors
  • Strong understanding of control systems, PLC, DCS, SCADA, and instrumentation technologies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of GTG, STG, HRSG, Desalination, T&D, and wastewater treatment instrumentation
  • Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and related engineering software
  • Experience with reliability tools (RCM, RCA, IPF) and technical evaluations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently when required.
  • Willingness to travel and work in diverse environments as needed.
