Job description

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere / Hyper-V).
• Support storage systems (SAN / NAS) and backup / recovery solutions.
• Perform routine system monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with networking tasks (switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers).
• Document configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for system upgrades and projects.
• Participate in on-call support and incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in on-prem infrastructure support / engineering.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux OS administration.
• Experience with VMware / Hyper-V virtualization.
• Basic knowledge of storage solutions and backup systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPN).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
