In this role, you will leverage your engineering expertise to design and implement advanced computing systems tailored for industrial applications across various sectors, including Oil & Energy. Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and maintain computer systems that improve industrial operations
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects
  3. Develop and configure control systems and software relevant to industrial processes
  4. Oversee system integration tasks and perform rigorous testing
  5. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively
  6. Ensure systems comply with industry standards and quality assurance protocols
  7. Provide ongoing technical support to clients and stakeholders
  8. Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in the field of industrial computing

Ideal candidates will have experience in IT system setup, integration, and network operation. Responsibilities include providing commissioning, startup, and maintenance support for workshop networks and systems, liaising with area IT personnel, and addressing interface issues between workshop, corporate networks, and third-party vendors. Candidates should be capable of investigating security breaches, serving as technical experts in workshop automation, control systems, networking, and systems, and demonstrating proficiency in hardware interfacing, instrumentation, SAP Plant Connectivity, IoT platforms like ThingWorx, Building Management Systems, scripting, and security configuration. Additional responsibilities include managing workshop networks, configuring OPC servers, developing automation scripts, supporting patch management, performing upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery documentation. Certifications such as MSCE, CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are preferred. Fluency in English and familiarity with manufacturing workshop maintenance processes are essential.
