Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Inspector - Saudi National to join our team! In this role you will be under the direction of a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) Manager or Director, assist a Project or Program Manager in ensuring that site‑specific SH&E plans, workplaces, and operational tasks being conducted conform to Parsons' risk management practices and comply with prevailing regulatory and client SH&E requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Providing co‑ordination and administering HSE to Contractor construction and HSE Teams in support of the program and HSE lead.
  • Ensuring that Supervisory Consultant and Contractor key deliverables are prepared as necessary.
  • Developing schedules for Contractor Audits, Compliance Inspections, Leadership Tours etc.,
  • Collating and analyzing HSE key data from the SAPL and Contractor HSE Teams.
  • Generating the required daily, weekly and Monthly project reports on behalf of the HSE Manager.
  • Mentoring and developing competence of Contractor HSE staff during site walks and evaluating their performance.
  • Review Contractor plans, procedures, Method Statements & Risk Assessment.
  • Attend and review all HSE Compliance Inspection reports.
  • Develop schedules for Safety Observations Reports, Audits, Compliance Inspections, Leadership Tours as per HSE Manager requirements.
  • Follow up with Contractors for pending closeout actions of SOR, Abnormal Events, Audits & Compliance inspections.
  • Conduct Monthly office assessments (office inspection & Office Risk assessment).
  • Organize, attend HSE Contractors meetings, presentations and be able to prepare minutes of the meeting.
  • Arrange and deliver HSE orientation for new employees and visitors.
  • Attend and contribute to Contractors Rewards and recognition ceremonies.
  • Review and contribute Contractor incident event reports and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Monitor HSE logs/trackers (SOR, Audit, Compliance inspection etc).
  • Attend Contractor & client Risk review meetings.
  • Attend Contractors emergency drills and collect their reports.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of NEBOSH International General certificate required; however a NEBOSH Diploma, (OTHM, NVQ Level 5/6) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Membership of a recognized international HSE professional body (IOSH, IIRSM).
  • Member of Saudi Council of Engineers.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development in the field of HSE and a good understanding of International HSE Standards ISO45001(2018) Auditor qualified.
  • 5 years practical experience (minimum) of Construction or infrastructure, civils, enabling works on large‑scale heavy civil engineering construction Projects, preferably in a Consultancy role.
  • Be a good communicator both verbal and written in English and have proficient computer skills.
