As the Health and Safety Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies and programs to ensure the well-being of our employees and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Establish and maintain effective systems for identifying, assessing, and controlling potential hazards and risks
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and internal stakeholders
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices, and implement enhancements to our health and safety program
• Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on health and safety performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards
• Proven track record in developing and implementing health and safety strategies and programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
