Primary Purpose

Visually communicate messages, build brand identity, and create compelling, aesthetically pleasing materials by strategically integrating photography with design principles (layout, typography, color) for print and digital media, ensuring clarity and emotional impact for the target audience.

Key Accountabilities
  • Create unique designs, illustrations, and photo compositions for various media (web, print, social).
  • Design logos, color palettes, and typography to align with brand guidelines.
  • Design layouts for ads, brochures, websites, and publications, selecting appropriate fonts and arrangements.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for design and photo manipulation/retouching.
  • Prepare final files for different platforms (print specs, web optimization).
  • Enhance, retouch, and compose images for marketing materials.
  • Work with marketing, copywriters, and creative directors to meet project goals.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and liaise with printers/vendors.
  • Understand client needs, present drafts, manage feedback, and ensure final approval.
  • Ensure all final graphics are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet quality standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints by following and updating style guides, typography, and color palettes.
  • Using software like Adobe Photoshop to manipulate images, including color correction, background removal, and high-end retouching for professional use.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.

Shorter design courses or digital media programs can also build skills and credentials.

Experience

+3 Years Experience in (typography, color theory, visual storytelling), technical software proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite), a strong portfolio showcasing diverse work (print/digital/photo manipulation).
