Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a multi-culture workforce.
• Previous experience as a trained fire-fighter with a civil Fire Brigade or multinational company fire team.
• Knowledge and experience of sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor fire inspection patrols.
• Conduct audits to maintain fire safety standards.
• Advise on fire safety standards and liaise with Civil Defense representatives.
• Identify hazards that could result in fire loss.
• Ensure all fire safety equipment is maintained and ready.

Skills

Experience in fire detection and suppression equipment

Good written and spoken English

Knowledge of electronic Fire Detection System

About the Role :

Oversee the safety of all divisional personnel, contractors and visitors at the site locations / accommodation and to report any unsafe or defective equipment, practice, act or omission to functional management ensuring that immediate corrective action is taken to eliminate / minimize the risk of loss resulting from fire, smoke and water damage to Almarai resources including but not restricted to : Personnel, Buildings, Plant & equipment, Product & raw materials, information & information retrieval systems both paper & electronic.

Activities :

• Supervise & monitor fire inspection patrols & the use of fire inspection checklists.
• Conducting periodic audits of the Site to ensure the highest standards (Best International Practice) of fire safety is maintained.
• Advise line management on any legal or Company standards affecting Fire Safety and liaise with Civil Defense representatives during fire inspections or with regard to fire prevention measures.
• Identify hazards likely to produce an accident or fire loss, compile necessary reports and advise line management regarding preventative measures.
• Advise on required fire warning and fire fighting equipment for all areas of the poultry business
• Ensure the fire detection, alarm, suppression, water & hydrant system and fire fighting equipment are maintained and in state of readiness / availability through development of a fire inspection system

Requirement :

The Potential candidates must be SAUDI and meet the requirements mentioned below :

• Degree in a field related to health and safety.
• 3 years experience in multi-culture workforce organization, handling fire detection and suppression equipment.
• Previous experiences as trained fire‑fighter with either a civil Fire Brigade or large multi‑national company fire team.
• Good written and spoken English essential.
• Knowledge and experience of an electronic Fire Detection System & Sprinkler System.
