Job summary

An energy solutions provider based in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Technical Advisor to oversee instrumentation and controls during outages. The ideal candidate will lead outage planning tasks, commission and troubleshoot instrumentation apparatus, and ensure compliance with quality management systems. Strong knowledge of software-based DCS systems and the ability to generate detailed reports are essential. This role involves both field and office work, supporting a dynamic team during critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Technical Advisor role during outages under project manager's leadership.
• Commission, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation apparatus.
• Lead development of I&C capabilities within the FS department.
• Support the FS backup office with pre-outage planning.
• Inspect measuring instrumentation systems for proper functioning.

Skills

Excellent understanding of programming and software-based DCS (Netmation) control systems

Ability to generate detailed field reports

Development and revision of field procedures

Interpreting technical documents and drawings
