Description

The Facilities Coordinator will have a significant impact on customer experience. They will lead and manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines. They will develop plans to accomplish engineering departmental goals.

The role involves leadership, development, and coaching of the team. Performance management will be conducted by the Facilities Coordinator – Maintenance. This position also leads the technical team in providing both reactive and proactive maintenance services on all operational equipment and facility infrastructure within the Delivery Stations (DS). Their work directly impacts site productivity and operational success. If equipment is unavailable or performs poorly, it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.

Key job responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and leadership to Facility Supervisors
  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for DS assets, including material handling and automation systems
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all site assets
  • Act as an ambassador for safety and promote safe working practices across the site
  • Manage day‑to‑day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep
  • Manage EHS and statutory compliance of DS, including waste and hazardous waste management per bylaws and timely renewal of licenses
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels of the organization
  • Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance
  • Prioritize and manage resources under high pressure
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience using a computer maintenance management system for planning, scheduling, and auditing overall facilities/maintenance activities
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Flexibility to work a schedule/shift/work area that includes weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Travel up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent
  • Experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance
