Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy truck driver with a clean driving record and valid commercial driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks to transport goods while adhering to regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring safe handling.
• Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness to reflect company standards.
• Assist in training new drivers on safe practices.
