Role Summary

Role: Supervise structural installation and erection activities in beneficiation and assigned areas within the phosphoric acid plant. Manage crews, subcontractors, and ensure timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily E&I construction activities, including installation of electrical systems, cable pulling, terminations, instrumentation devices, and control systems.
  • Monitor and ensure contractor performance meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
  • Interpret and implement electrical and instrumentation drawings, datasheets, and installation standards.
  • Ensure adherence to project technical specifications, industry codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE), and client standards.
  • Lead toolbox talks and enforce safety compliance in accordance with site HSE policies.
  • Interface with Engineering, Procurement, and Commissioning teams to resolve field technical queries (TQ/RFI).
  • Conduct joint inspections with QA/QC for E&I works and ensure proper documentation (ITPs, checklists, redlines).
  • Track material deliveries, equipment installations, and support inventory control of E&I bulk materials.
  • Coordinate vendor support for specialized equipment installation and pre-commissioning.
  • Provide daily and weekly progress reporting, including look-ahead schedules and risk mitigation plans.
  • Support commissioning team with loop checks, function testing, and energization activities.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in E&I supervision, especially mining/beneficiation for Phosphoric acid plant/ phosphate / fertilizer / petrochemical projects
