Job summary

A leading energy services company in Dammam, KSA, is hiring a Shop Technician I. The technician will assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and servicing of downhole tools, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have previous mechanical experience, be able to operate lift trucks, and possess relevant certifications. Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop or mechanical environment is preferred.
• Oilfield shop or warehouse experience will be beneficial.
• Must have reach and counterbalance lift safety certification.
• Certification in First Aid Training is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, rebuild, and service downhole tools and equipment.
• Operate various tools and equipment in the assembly area.
• Follow safety procedures and outlined specifications.
• Inspect forklifts and overhead cranes daily.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
• Assist with facility or operations tasks as required.

Skills

Previous workshop or mechanical experience

Ability to operate lift truck and reach style forklift

Communication in English

Mechanically inclined

Certification to operate warehouse machinery

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
