Overview

JASARA PMC is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager with expertise in tunnels and bridges to join our team. As the Design Manager for tunnels and bridges at JASARA PMC, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for tunnel and bridge projects. Working closely with our clients, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are designed and executed to the highest standards, meeting both safety and functionality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the design team throughout the project lifecycle for tunnel and bridge projects
• Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
• Developing innovative and practical design solutions for tunnels and bridges
• Overseeing the production of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Ensuring that designs comply with relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Performing technical reviews of design deliverables and addressing any design-related issues or challenges
• Coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design implementation
• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the design team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tunnel and bridge design
• Strong knowledge of design principles, engineering codes, standards, and regulations for tunnels and bridges
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SAP2000
• Experience with tunnel and bridge design software such as PLAXIS and MIDAS is preferred
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members
