A leading aerospace company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a professional for Configuration Management. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Configuration Management Plan, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing configuration control processes. Applicants should have experience with CM tools and a commitment to integrity. This fixed-term position offers opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
Job Description: Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) in accordance with the project requirements and industry standards.
Identify, document and control configuration items (CIs) across the project lifecycle. Maintain configuration records, audit trails, and status accounting for all CIs. Ensure compliance with applicable CM policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance and project management teams to support version control and change impact analysis. Manage and operate CM tools (e.g., Windchill, SharePoint, Confluence, Nexus). Provide training and support to project staff on CM processes and tools. Generate regular CM status reports for stakeholder and leadership. Ensure the integrity and traceability of configuration documentation and baselines. Ensure all deliverables are printed and secured in binders for the customer. Manage internal configuration control boards (CCBs) to evaluate and approve proposed changes to configuration items.
