Role Summary

The Cybersecurity GRR Officer is responsible for establishing and overseeing the Governance, Risk, and Resilience framework, which involves defining policies and standards that align with business objectives and regulatory mandates; they conduct high-level risk assessments and influence risk mitigation decisions; most critically, they develop and test the organization's cyber resilience strategies—including disaster recovery, business continuity, and major incident plans—to ensure core business functions can withstand and rapidly recover from sophisticated cyberattacks, all while reporting the organization's resilience posture to executive leadership and the board.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are documented, and that HALA adheres to them in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are published in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and ensure that employees of HALA have the necessary security awareness and are aware of their responsibilities in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Ensuring the protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data and information of HALA, in accordance with the policies and regulatory procedures adopted therein, and in accordance with the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. as well as developing and overseeing the Privacy Compliance Program and Privacy Program staff, and supporting the compliance, governance, policy, and event response needs of Executives and their privacy and security teams.
  • Ensuring that the requirements of cybersecurity resilience are met in the business continuity management of HALA. And ensuring the treatment and minimization of the effects of disruptions to the entity's sensitive electronic services and its information processing systems and devices because of disasters resulting from cyber events.
  • Ensure the management of cybersecurity risks in a systematic manner aimed at protecting the information and technical assets of HALA, in accordance with the policies and regulatory procedures approved in HALA and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity controls and their compliance with the policies and procedures of HALA in addition to national regulations and agreements.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, BA or equivalent field of studies.
