Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for CSSD equipment, including sterilizers, washers, and dryers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure uninterrupted CSSD operations.
  • Ensure all CSSD equipment operates in compliance with safety, quality, and infection control standards.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance accurately.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for technical support, calibration, and spare parts.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with relevant professional certifications in medical equipment maintenance or sterilization systems (preferably CSSD).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance of medical or industrial equipment, preferably in CSSD systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, steam sterilization, and thermal processes.
  • Familiarity with occupational safety, infection control standards, and quality requirements such as CBAHI / JCI.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis, with good documentation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
