Overview

We are looking for a Contract Advisor for one of our clients.

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Start Date: ASAP

Estimated Service Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Service Status: Resident

Note: The service holder is in charge of contracting initiatives and related activities in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Degree qualified with a professional contracts and procurement background and prior commercial experience.
  • Refining and petrochemicals technologies.
  • Good oral and written communication abilities and writing skills in English.
Professional Experience
  • At least 10 to 15 years\' experience in Oil & Gas industries.
  • Experience within project management.
  • Experience in projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia / Middle East.
  • Experience in EPCC phase of large projects.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts on behalf of operators, contractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Ability to liaise at all organizational levels and represent the project on contract related matters.
  • Experience with multinational and multicultural task force team environments.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental aspects of major construction projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and to work in an international multi-cultural project environment, with interpersonal skills, rigor and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work as a member of a project team, to liaise, coordinate and positively communicate with involved parties (Contractors, project entities, auditors, other discipline representatives, experts, PMT EPCC packages, etc.).
Responsibilities
  • The service holder is in charge: ensure that all contracting initiatives, decisions and commitments are recorded in an auditable manner.
  • Provide negotiation support to package management team on contract deviations, including development and maintenance of deviation registers.
  • Provide to package management the required expertise on EPC contract management related issues.
