Job description

We are currently looking for dynamic, self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals who can assist in organizing and directing a team that develops top-quality food & beverage products, with prompt, accurate, and personalized service.

As a Chief Steward, you are responsible for assisting the Stewarding Manager in enforcing the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all food processing facilities and operating equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing functional assistance and direction, ensuring the smooth operation of the entire stewarding department.
  2. Supervising the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operations, and costs.
  3. Overseeing sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and maintaining the quality of products and services.
  4. Ensuring the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories.
  5. Coordinating with the Stewarding Manager to establish and maintain minimum and maximum par stocks and supplies, and approving storeroom requisitions.
  6. Collaborating with the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or Outlet Manager to review daily requirements.
  7. Maintaining health inspection records, attendance records, and files on casual employees.
  8. Taking necessary actions to reduce the loss of silverware and flatware.
