JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Business Support Change Manager works as part of the HR team in the provision of HR support on a range of HRE/HRET matters to a business or functional area to meet operational needs of line management and the business.
Responsibilities
- Providing strategic input to the Specialist Support Team on implementation Change strategies supporting the delivery of HRE/HRET initiatives in KSA.
- Ensuring all local HRE/HRET activity complies with Company policies, HR strategy and UK & KSA legislative frameworks, where appropriate.
- Provision of a training and coaching service to Line Management on HRE/HRET procedure.
- Ensuring business objectives that are aligned to the job holder, through the local Value Plan, are met.
- Manage and enhance the relationship with the stakeholders.
- The job holder may be required to compile or analyse complex periodic and ad-hoc reports, sometimes containing statistical data that back up recommendations / actions. There will be occasions when these reports will require formal presentations and briefing sessions with senior management.
- The job holder may occasionally be required to deliver workshops, provide training, give coaching and make formal presentations to Company staff (particularly Line Management) covering a range of HRE/HRET procedures / initiatives.
- Transition Planning - actively engage with the programme core team on all aspects of landing the change and new WoW in KSA; e.g. Capability Drops timeline and Change plan, BRR etc.
- Business Change – work closely with the KSA and programme Change team and key stakeholders on various business change activities; play a key role in ensuring change impacts are well defined and understood within the business, and robust actions are in place to land the change successfully
- UAT - be an integral part of UAT; support the team on prep work (e.g. Test Scripts for Localisation, UAT Familiarisation sessions); be present during UAT sessions to provide HR Process expertise; support/ coordinate logging of issues and driving resolution with KSA and programme stakeholders; support local team as needed; liaise with KSA HRLT for UAT sign-off
- Training – be part of the Train the Trainer sessions and, if possible, take the role of a Trainer; support the training delivery to end users by attending the sessions where possible/ required and provide the HR process expertise
- Go-live prep – be part of the core team that plans and executes all pre go-live activities
Recruitment Specification
- The role would typically require a degree in Business Administration / Human Resources or a related discipline.
- CIPD or SHRM qualification in Human Resource Management.
- Has an in depth understanding of HR concepts and procedures within own HR technical/HR subject area and a basic knowledge in other HR areas.
- Role typically requires an extensive amount of practical HR knowledge gained through experience.
- The role requires a comprehensive understanding of how areas collectively integrate to achieve the goals of the business.
- Full management of a team, including management of people, defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes.
- The role requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on analysis of factual information.
- The role has an impact on the business through providing value added perspectives or advisory services that are important to decision making.
- The role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others.
