Job Title: Breast and Endocrine Surgery Consultant.

Department: General Surgery

JOB SUMMARY

As a consultant in Breast and Endocrine Surgery, you would be responsible for leading the surgical team at our esteemed hospital. Responsibilities include providing expert guidance in surgical care, collaborating with medical professionals to optimize patient outcomes, contributing to research and education initiatives, and upholding the hospital's commitment to excellence in Breast and Endocrine Surgery by ensuring the highest standards of surgical services in our top-rated facility.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide high-quality Breast and Endocrine Surgery care to patients.
  • Offer consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows, and engage in research activities.
  • Participate in committees and administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Graduate from a recognized medical school.
  • Completion of training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
  • Saudi Arab, American, or European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship in America and/or Europe or equivalent, meeting the criteria for a consultant.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow certification is required.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship in the specialty.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is beneficial.
References
  • Positive professional references attesting to skills and ethical conduct.
