Overview

Job Purpose Statement: Maintain and ensure continually improve the Safety Management System (SMS) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in the assigned work location.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct & Review HIRARC - Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) documents annually or when needed and keep the records up to date.
  • Conduct periodical safety inspections for all for all places under the region such as Units, Ramp, Camp, and other areas & lounges.
  • Assists in the continuing development and executes the internal evacuation plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety legislation.
  • Organize the ISO45001:2018 internal, external Audit & corp. safety Inspection to ensure the compliance of standard requirement.
  • Support units to maintain the GACA R151 Certification.
  • Initiate, identify, and organize safety training of employees including supervisor & managers.
  • Conduct monthly safety committee meeting & to communicate purpose & results of the meeting to all participants.
  • Reviews and approves all subcontractors’ safety plans.
  • Supervising the regional safety specialists.
  • Organize the Drill in unit and camp, at least once a year.
  • Record & report accident/incidents and participate investigated.
  • Ensure PPE’s inventory and compliance.
  • Ensure all equipment safety inspection is carried out as per the scheduled.
  • All internal safety correspondence is replied timely.
  • Verify the effective implementation of accidents and all Audit/Inspection findings corrective/preventive actions.
  • Review regional monthly safety reports then prepare and send the consolidated report to be shared with management.
  • Participate in internal, external meetings where safety is the main agenda.
  • Keep the Sr, Safety Manager informed on all regional safety matters.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance to the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law.
