The project:
This is an opportunity to work on a large luxury -use development in Riyadh, KSA. Mace are providing project management consultancy services.


You’ll be responsible for:





  • Direct the preparation and execution of all contract documentation, including warranties, bonds, and licenses, ensuring compliance with project and legal standards.





  • Lead large teams or multiple teams of cost consultants, driving performance, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).





  • Oversee accurate measurement and valuation processes to maintain effective cost control and ensure timely, transparent financial reporting.





  • Manage the production and client presentation of monthly post-contract cost reports, ensuring alignment with project progress and financial objectives.





  • Identify and assess cost implications of design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client-driven variations to maintain budget integrity.





  • Supervise the evaluation and resolution of contractor and subcontractor claims, including delays and additional costs, ensuring fair and timely outcomes.





  • Direct the issuance of practical completion and final completion certificates, ensuring all contractual and quality requirements are met.





  • Champion innovation and sustainability by enhancing cost management tools and processes, and actively contributing to net zero carbon transition goals through informed decision-making.




You’ll need to have:





  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.





  • Experience working for either a T1 contractor or cost consultancy practice.





  • Experience working on the Fidic suite of contracts would be an added advantage.





  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or equivalent.
