The Assistant Manager – Design Excellence plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, analytical rigor, and strategic coordination across the Strategic Design Support vertical. This role acts as a key liaison and trusted advisor to the Director and Strategic Design Support leadership team, supporting decision‑making through advanced analysis, high‑level reporting, and process optimization.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Assistant Manager is expected to proactively lead initiatives that improve team performance, streamline information flow, and enhance collaboration across departments and Business Units. This role demands not only technical proficiency but also strategic foresight, leadership acumen, and a deep understanding of multidisciplinary design environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the collation, synthesis, and review of multidisciplinary technical and operational data into concise, insightful, and actionable reports for executive‑level decision‑making.
- Support the Director in planning and executing strategic initiatives, preparing executive‑level presentations, and tracking progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic goals.
- Champion and drive process improvements across Strategic Design Support, with a focus on enhancing information management, quality control, and delivery efficiency.
- Manage cross‑departmental coordination for key deliverables, ensuring integration of inputs from various Business Units in alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Independently manage assigned workstreams within the Strategic Design Support vertical, including ownership of timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Act as the primary coordination point for Strategic Design Support in selected strategic initiatives, facilitating alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust, up‑to‑date database of regulatory frameworks and applicable standards for Qiddiya, ensuring this information is readily accessible and accurately communicated across teams.
- Utilize advanced digital tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data‑driven decision‑making.
- Author, review, and finalize high‑quality professional documents including Request for Proposal, reports, policy documents, meeting minutes, and presentations tailored for executive and interdepartmental audiences.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in all documentation, while maintaining strict confidentiality where required.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or design related subjects. Other degrees will be considered depending on relevancy of experience.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical data into strategic insights.
- Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills; Power BI proficiency is a distinct advantage.
