Job description

The Art Director is a member of the creative team.

He/She comes from a creative/design background with +4 years working experience in conceptualizing, designing and delivering creative assets in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment.

The Art Director must be able to take a brief and collaborate with accounts and project management on resourcing, timeline planning.

The ideal candidate should be up-to-date design trends, able to use creative tools and have a preferred understanding of the different forms of digital mediums from social, digital display, mobile and .
com.

Responsibilities
  • Take a brief, understand target audience and work with the creative team to conceptualize creative solutions to be presented to the Creative Director
  • Actively contribute to building the agency’s creative reputation by proactively presenting award‑winning ideas to the Creative Director
  • Support the agency business through pitches and efficient, timely deliveries of creative requirements
  • Collaborate with broader creative disciplines for integrated campaigns and solutions
  • Work with traffic, accounts and project management teams to develop the right resources, timelines and solutions from a creative standpoint
  • Effectively communicate and present ideas and deliverables to internal teams
  • Lead the design efforts for print, key visuals and digital deliverables ranging from eDMs, social media assets, standard and Rich Media banners, storyboards
  • Provide creative quality assurance for deliverables against media specifications, brand and design guidelines

Qualifications
  • At least +4 years of working experience in an advertising agency
  • Highly skilled with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent ability to art direct and design creative work
  • Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff, engendering trust and respect
  • Good presentation skills
  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
