- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related field. (This aligns with general IT Executive standards in Malaysia)
- 1 – 3+ years of relevant IT experience — typically in IT support, network administration, hardware/software troubleshooting, or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networks
- Understanding of IT security fundamentals (backup, firewall, access control)
- Ability to support servers, networks, and user accounts
- Good communication to help non-technical users with issues
- Experience with cloud solutions, virtualization, or cybersecurity tools
- Knowledge of backup/recovery, server administration, or network security best practices
