Job summary

A leading conglomerate in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting and compliance. You will ensure timely submissions of financial reports and assist the Finance Head with internal controls. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of financial software is a plus. Finance Manager (Based in Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort)

Ensure all financial reports are submitted by the clubs on time.

Checked the financial reports submitted by the clubs to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Preparing Clubs’ consolidated financial reports and analyse the financial statements of the clubs.

Review and monitor internal control procedures practised in the clubs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in clubs’ operations.

Assist and provide guidance to the Finance Head of the Club and where necessary to act as the Finance Head in the Clubs.

Managing credit control functions of the club and recommend measures for debts recovery.

Review the forecast and annual budget of the clubs.

Review the tax computation/estimation of the clubs and ensure adherence to the tax laws.

Assist and report to the Head of Clubs in any other accounting/financial related matters of the clubs.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related Professional Certification, such as CPA, ACCA, CA, etc.

At least 3 years of working experience in accounting, auditing or financial analysis roles.

Knowledge and experience in IFCA or Albatrozz software program is an added advantage.

Able to pay attention to details and deadlines.

In-dept knowledge in accounting standards, taxation and financial related laws.

Strong leadership, communication and management skills.
