We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX).

A Senior Platform Engineer is first and foremost a software developer who specializes in the domain of the processes and resources necessary to enable the development, build, test, deploy, and release of changes to enterprise applications delivered to market while ensuring this occurs as frequently as needed, with the least amount of error possible, and the maximum uptime. Our product, a dynamic virtual platform and its resources include an automated software factory, its logistics and utilities, a digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops. Our customers encompass the entire IT organization including ourselves.

• Quickly be steeped in a suite of custom accelerators which include: Continuously tested & delivered Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code, Extensible automation & dependency management code frameworks, Development of event driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self‑Service Developer Portals.
• We eat our own dog food; all your work will be covered with unit, security, governance, and functional testing utilizing appropriate frameworks.
• Armed with these accelerators you will be among the first on the ground to customize and deploy the delivery platform that will enable the application developers that follow us to rapidly create, demonstrate, and deliver value sprint over sprint for much of the Global Fortune 500.

• 1+ years coding in either Python, Typescript, or Golang
• 1+ years scripting experience in bash or powershell
• 4+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 4+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows)
• 1+ years of experience with one of the following public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Expertise: Proficient in creating and managing infrastructure through code using Terraform.
2. Develop and maintain scripts for deploying and configuring resources consistently across various environments.
3. Containerization and Orchestration: Implementation and management of Kubernetes clusters for orchestrating containerized applications and Docker.
4. Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for scalable application deployment and Azure Container Registry (ACR) to handle Docker images for the services.
5. Azure Services Proficiency: Utilize Azure services, including Azure Container Registry (ACR), PostgreSQL Database, and Application Configuration for comprehensive application solutions.
6. Experience in integrating Azure DevOps (ADO) for streamlined development processes.
7. CI/CD Automation: Set up and manage automated workflows for branch creation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using Azure Pipelines.
8. Ensure secure service and application deployments through best practices in automation.
9. Application Onboarding: Design and automate the onboarding process for applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
10. Collaborate with developers to facilitate smooth transitions of applications into production environments.
11. Database Deployment Automation: Architect and implement solutions for automated database deployments, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
12. Monitoring and Reporting Automation: Develop automated scripts and tools for real‑time reporting and monitoring of applications to ensure performance and availability.
13. Self‑Service Capability Development: Build self‑service solutions that empower teams to manage their workflows while ensuring compliance with governance policies.
14. Cloud Technology Expertise: Lead the onboarding of applications and services in cloud environments, specializing in one of the following: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, or AWS.
15. Release Engineering Leadership: Oversee and lead release engineering activities, ensuring that code releases are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
