As a Senior Associate in Contract Management, you’ll help drive the future of McGraw Hill’s supplier relationships while also developing your own contract negotiation and legal advisory expertise. This is a Remote position and is open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within Mexico.

How Will You Make an Impact?

As part of our Global Procurement Operations (GPO) team, you’ll independently manage complex contracts, collaborate with stakeholders, and help shape internal contract processes and templates. You’ll also support junior team members and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our contract management systems.

What can you expect from the position:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and legal agreements (e.g., IP, IT, services, and content contracts).
• Collaborating across GPO and internal stakeholders (legal, finance, tax, product teams) to align with business goals and risk standards.
• Advising on contract strategies and interpretation of terms.
• Mentoring and training junior team members.
• Developing and updating tools and templates to support scalable contract processes.
• Assisting with training content, playbooks, and team knowledge base.
• Contributing to special projects in contract transformation and operational innovation.

What can you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in commercial law, contract management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating legal/commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple business functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Experience in an in-house legal or procurement setting preferred.
• Industry knowledge in publishing, EdTech, or technology is a plus.
