Job Summary

Principal Consultant. We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday HCM Compensation and a strong understanding of Workday HCM. Experience in Devices/SPM Finance & Accounting is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance our HR systems and processes contributing to the company’s success.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on the client’s requirements, budget and timeframe with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.
  • Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Independently execute on the assigned support activities with utmost quality and as per the milestone or resolution time.
  • Act as a Lead Consultant in gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing and implementing business solutions.
  • Build or configure the system to the customer’s expectations and requirements.
  • Lead the integration work stream driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to functionalities.
  • Identify strategies, risks and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client or functional requirements.
  • Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday projects for a variety of clients including project reviews.
  • Master the art of follow through. Frequently update your Engagement Manager and Service Delivery Manager on timeline tasks, risks, roles & responsibilities, etc.
  • Proactively keep yourself abreast of Workday updates and project changes. Seek out opportunities to further your skillset and professional growth. We love initiative!
  • Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts including providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Actively participate in update training and internal opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization.
  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Workday HCM implementation or post-production support experience.
  • 5+ years of HCM software experience in at least one module. Multiple modules preferred.
  • 5 years implementing/supporting functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software.
  • Workday Certification is mandatory.
  • Expertise in gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, Finance or related field.
  • Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Be adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Be able to effectively train and support team members in technical skills.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travel to customer site when needed.
  • This position will be remote.
