We are seeking a skilled California-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with experience as an Electrical Engineer designing switchgear and switchboards for low and medium voltage applications. This individual will have the requisite certifications to legally stamp an electrical drawing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as a strong understanding of electrical and building codes and UL standards. You will play a key role in designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems that meet industry standards and client specifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience designing switchgear and switchboards for low and medium voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
  • Experience with UL standards and preparing UL files for certification.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or other simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with additional industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing or field installation of mechanicalsystems.
